  As a result, we only hire individuals who are up to the challenge.  That is to say that all employees must complete a certified Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), as well as a NORCAT, training course.  Furthermore, they must be trained in first aid and CPR and be certified to pilot and operate personal watercraft. 

  On the site, operations training is an ongoing process allowing us to use the strengths of individuals to improve the whole.  This coupled with a frequent and thorough individual performance evaluation system ensures that laborers are on the level and above the grade. 

  Our strong emphasis on health and safety is paramount to our impressive safety record.  No employee of CGEI has ever suffered a serious workplace injury in nearly 40 years of operation.
